Fermentation is an age-old method of food preservation that transforms simple ingredients into flavorful, nourishing foods — and it’s a practice we return to often in our own small-batch ferments at Kaluna.
Together, we’ll explore the basics of fermentation, talk through the simple ingredients and conditions that help ferments thrive, and prepare a few seasonal recipes using what the farm and season have to offer. Participants will leave with practical knowledge, inspiration, and ferments to enjoy at home.
